About Us

Timmy and I met when he was 18 and I was 16. We worked at the local pool we were both Lifeguards. I never really liked him much, I thought he was arrogant, loud and opinionated. A week before he left on an LDS mission to Australia, we started dating. I was kind of glad to see him go. When he got back I was going to be in another state, going to college, working somewhere other than the pool and living the dream. I wrote maybe twice to him, just friendly letters, However he wrote me maybe 10 and yes I still have them. When he got home, I was not in another state, I was here in St. George Utah. Working at the pool and attending Dixie Community college. He started working at the pool again and I avoided him at every cost. He informed me of when he would be speaking in his ward, I did not go. He tried calling me to "hang out." I ignored his phone calls and messages. I know I sound like a big fat jerk. That is why I finally answered one of his calls, it was a Sunday and I told him my family was watching a movie and that if he really wanted he could come over.  I thought the whole family thing would deter him, but not Timmy. He came over and my family was nice enough to leave us alone.....NO!! Well it was getting late and I walked him to the door, just like I did everyone, my mother taught me to be polite, and of course what does he do kisses me when I least expect it. I immediately texted him and stated that we were better off just being friends and that would not happen again. Well it did, we dated on and off, I broke it off with him twice before I moved to California. When I got there I was living with family and so my family didn't really bother to call me much. I was lonely, I didn't have any friends that lived there and Timmy was the only one that would talk to me. We would talk for hours and hours. Until during spring break he came to California picked me up and we came home. We started dating much more serious and in June 25 2006 he purposed and we were married September 23, 2006 in the St. George Temple. Timmy and I have now been married for 5 years. We are so happy living in our own home that we bought just about 2 years ago. Before we moved in Timmy remodeled most of our home himself, he is such a good little fixer upper.Timmy just started teaching at a local elementary school as a fourth grade teacher, and I am a nurse. We have been trying to start a family but are working through a long process of infertility to move forward. Timmy loves to be outside, help people with anything, exercise and spending time with me. I love to work on furniture, scrapbook, and try to sew, and of course spend time with Timmy. We love to spend time with each other and go on fun dates, we love being outside and trying new things.
