Blessings

I can't hide from the embarrassing reality that I didn't pass my boards. Yeah I know everyone says that doesn't mean that your not going to be a good nurse...I know I am the perfect picture of a terrible test taker. I didn't want many people to know but because I am going to school and I am in the residency program, I have told more people than I would like. I have now come to terms, a week later that I will take it again and pass :) I have realized that although my car broke down, timmy's grandpa died, My dog growing up was put to sleep and I didn't pass my boards, these things will all pass, and I will still be left with a new house, a husband who loves me and I love very much, family that cares about me, a new puppy, and great friends that make me laugh. I am now rolling with the universe. Whatever is in store for me will happen and for whatever reason I will learn whatever I need to. Someone once said you don't have to take the cards that are dealt to you, you can always change your fate.

March to June

Timmy and I have been busy as usual and to tell you the truth, I am in the middle of class right now. :) As most of you know we have graduated...finally. Timmy is lucky and has his Bachelors degree. I am an RN, and will take my NCLEX (boards) this saturday and I will be officially a nurse with a license. The past few months have slowly gone by but a lot has happened. March what happened in march...We moved in finally. We have a house now it is awesome. I love having my own space, kitchen and most of all I can walk around naked!! My best friend in the whole world got married and I am so happy for them. Brooke has always been a great friend and I think Johan and her suit each other very well...I approve! Lets see what else has happened. Lets see in April nothing really comes to mind but I am sure there was something so when I get our pictures up I will explain everything. May we graduated, I went to Cali and visited my sister and my two very cute nephews. They are in town right now and I love them so cute. I started the Bachelors program at SUU, we have had a few BBQ, I got a job at the hospital, and I will be taking my scary test on sat. So far unfortunately Timmy has not been offered a job yet for this school year...so unfortunately we will be putting off kids for another year...all that means is more traveling. I will be going to Connecticut this fall for a wedding and will be stopping by one of my favorite spots..New York, Timmy and I are going to try to go to COsta Rica this coming January and of course finally after 6 long years, Timmy and I will be going to Australia YEAH!! We have been talking about this since we got married and I am really excited for our lives to finally come together!!

Moving right along

My life right now just seems like it's moving right along. Timmy and I will be in our house in about 2 weeks. I am pretty excited. Our cabinets just got finished we cleaned out our garage and we are just about to start moving our stuff (into the garage). We ordered our doors and they will be here next Wednesday. Then all we have to do is paint our base boards and doors, have the guy come and hang them and then do carpet! YEAH!! It has definitely not been easy or cheap. I don't ever want to have to do something like this again talk about stress on the marriage. Thats okay it has been a great learning experience, and overall we have made great decisions. I will be done with school in a few months. We have been organizing our pinning ceremony and I am pretty excited about that. So far all I have to do is 6 hours of Community classes, and 8 full shifts on CVU. Then RN here I come. The next step is going to be finding jobs. Timmy and I right now have no prospects. We will be praying a lot. Hopefully I won't have to be a labor tech the rest of my life.

It is Painted (pretty much)

Here are some more pics. The first one's were taken just after the drywall guy finished and the rest are after we have painted. The whole house is painted except for a few closets and some touch up spots. The tile guy will be in today and hopefully finish up by Monday. We had lots of help from both of our parents as well as Christie and Moss. Painting Sucks!

House Update

Well we have all the lights in (some don't have bulbs in them) and all the electrical done. We just put in the insulation and will now have the sheet rock guy come and do his thing. Things are coming along hopefully I make the Feb. 20th deadline Trini has given me.

Our crazy life

I decided that christmas is over and I needed to change our blog. Of course school started again luckily this is our last semester :) Timmy will be graduating with his bachelors and hopefully will start to teach this fall. I on the other hand will be graduating with my 2 associates degree however this time as a Nurse :) I am really excited and will hopefully be working where I want to be. I just turned in my application for SUU bachelors program and will be hopefully starting the week I graduate. Timmy has been working really hard on our house and will be moving into it in about 2 weeks (I am throwing a bridal shower at my house on the 20). He has been a hard worker and after attending school 12 hours a day he has been going over and working on our house. He is finishing the electric work tonight and then we will be getting the dry wall finished and hopefully be painting by Saturday. School has been a little easier this semester but I will be starting my precepting soon and that will take up a lot of my time. Out of all this stress in my life I have lost 11 pounds and I am going to use this as my turn around in life. I am going to start eating healthier, exercising more and hopefully feel better about myself. The past few weeks have been really hard to handle just overly stressed, not feeling very positive and wishing that we were 2 months down the road. Have you ever felt that maybe your the only one going through what you are going through? Anyway thats enough of that. Hopefully in the next few days I wil post some pictures :)

Well the wall and pantry are framed in and all the tile is out. Now it is time to do the wiring and plumbing.
