Kelly Clarkson concert

You gotta have tattoos!!

After working a night shift I got off and went strait to Brooke's house. Her mom Kim and I drove about 4 hours to Pleasant Grove. When we finally arrived I got to see my bestest friend. It was about time, I hadn't seen her for months. I was excited to have a girls only weekend no boys (that doesn't mean we didn't talk about them.) That night we went to Wal-mart and got these sweet tattoos. We got ready for the concert and went to UVSC. There were tons of people there and we were pretty close to the front. It had rained all day and it finally stopped, we were praying that it wouldn't start up again. Before Kelly Clarkson they had a little college American Idol going on, this took forever. Finally when she got to sing she sang for a short hour and a half and we jammed the whole time. She sang really well in person. Afterwards we went home talked and slept. The next day we got up did a little shopping ate lunch and watched a movie and ate Chinese and painted our nails (girly right?) Then went to bed got up the Sunday and played Nintendo and then drove home. It was a short trip but I was really excited to spend time with Brooke.

second hand seranade and parachute

Timmy Russ and Nicole and I had a great time at the concert.

Timmy was a great husband and bought me tickets to the parachute concert. He meant to save them for a surprise but he ended up telling me when we were in a little argument. What a sweetie. We ate a taco bell for dinner and then met up with Russ and Nicole at the Sun bowl. I love all the little things Timmy does for me he is a great husband.

This month just flew by the second week of July we went to Liberty with Timmy's family. We had a really great time.

sunday
Timmy and I left after I got off of work we followed Russ and Nicole up...well they ended up following us up (sorry russ your slow). They looked pretty funny, he was pulling a big trailer with his little tacoma. After jamming out to Timmy's country music and a little old school punk rock we finally made it to grandma's. We slept in the front room, and we were excited to get some sleep after the long drive up.
monday
We got up monday morning ate some tomato sandwhiches and went to the new temple open house. I would spell the name of it but it's a wierd one. It was really cool, I had never been to a temple open house before. I know the kids liked it but they really liked the cookies and water afterwards. Next to the temple there was really cool neighborhood I really liked the houses maybe one day I can have a house like one of those. After that we went to Rubios and had some good food.....fish tacos yummy. Once we got done we went up to the house and just relaxed, it was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Madison and I just relaxed on the hammok until dinner. Jo and Bud made speghetti it was good.
tuesday
We got up in the morning for some pancakes and headed downt to Pineview lake. It was really fun! Timmy and I drove the tacoma with the little fishing boat on the back and Porter and Ry went with us. Once we got loaded up in the lake we got moven..oh yeah 9 miles an hour woohoo!! Once Aaron got his boat loaded they beat us to the beach where we hung out. He made some pretty wicked wakes and we almost flipped after that Porter said "It's ok if we would have flipped I would have saved Ry, Timmy thats why it's good to have a big boat." What good older brother. We hung out on shore for a while and played in the shallow water with the kids for a while. Russ took the kids in the fishing boat while Aaron took different people on the tube. I went with mom and Bonnie we had a good time the more comfortable we got the faster Aaron went. A couple of times Bonnie and I almost fell out. With mom's motherly instincts she pulled us back in. Timmy rode with Jo and Jason. The tube hit a big wake the tube jumped and Jason fell out of the tube. We ate sandwhiches and afterward went back to the house. You could tell we got a little sunburned so we put aloe on and we were good to go. Timmy, me, Paul and Heather were in charge of dinner that night. We made hambergers and hot dogs, and then played some sweet volleyball games. It was really fun especially since none of us are professionals (well except for Christie, mom, and heather) a few times pregnant heather went diving for the ball, she sacrificed herself much more than I did, but I am learning.
wednesday
Everyone this day did something different. We pilled in with Jason and Jo and went to Ikea with Nicole, Russ, and Bonnie and Aaron and the kids. I LOVE Ikea. It is defenetely on my favorite stores list. Top 5 for sure. We ate some meatballs and then shopped. I got a few picture frames for some things I had at the house. After that we went to Temple square. We got there before everyone so we waited with miss hailee for a while. We went to the tabernacle and walked around to the builings and went on a tour of the conference center. Timmy had never been in there and I was excited to go back. It is a very beautiful building and it was worth seeing. After getting a few pictures at the temple we went to find food. All I wanted was cheese and a Coke, I am a sucker for both. Well we couldn't find any cheese so we went to Boston's gourmet pizza. We ordered queso with chips, and mediteranean fondue....YES cheese, and of course a Coke and pizza. It was really good and we ate our self full. That night I was pooped I checked in early and slept great.
thursday
This day we went to the airforce base. I thought it would be boring but it wasn't, it was really fun to read about all the people who helped serve our country. The most interesting thing was reading about the courages women in the airforce. I once thought I was going to join the airforce, my plan was to be a nurse in the airforce...never happened. Anyway we went to a great mexican resturant afterwards and had a great strawberry daquori it was good and Ry and Braid liked it as well :) We hung out at the house for a few hours then ate Pizza my most favorite food. Then played volleyball again. I was still bruised from the nights before so I didn't play the whole time. I got to play with the babies :) After that we ate some cookies thanks nicole and russ, then hit the sack.
friday
I wasn't ready to go home so we went shopping at another one of favorite stores Forever 21 and my baby bought me 5 shirts thanks honey! Then we ate at Applebees :( I wasn't to happy about that especially because they don't have Coke but I was willing to eat there and it was good. Then we went to grandma's house and helped grandpa with the sprinklers. Then we went to visit grandma in the hospital, we were all worried about her and hope she gets better soon. Then we went home and went to bed.

So overall I thought we had an awesome time with the family. We did a lot of things and I got to know his family a lot better. There was a little drama thats true but what do you expect with 24 of us in the family. It's only getting bigger we are going to have to find a bigger place to stay in the next year or so, maybe I will be pregnant or have a baby (don't count on it though)

Mean Girls

There is one thing that I just can't stand and that's mean girls. The older I get the more I hate them. You know the girls that having nothing else to do but sit around and talk about someone else life, because there life is so pathetic they can't think of anything else to do. I have gotten to the point in my life where I can't listen to this crap anymore. I don't have time to just sit around and gossip about this girl or that girl, (and I don't want to listen to it for that manner). To tell you the truth sitting around talking about someone else problems or what they said or what they did (and half of it isn't true anyway), is not what I call having a good time. Seriously I am so sick of it and most of the time I have to deal with it at work but really it's everywhere. I wish people could worry about their own *&@# (Timmy Edit) self.

Saturday Shooting Fun!

Josh and Candace invited us to go out shooting with them today and it was a lot of fun and of course we invited Mike along with us.. The place we went shooting at has a course that had ten different stations that have different shooting scenarios. You walk from station to station and they have the clay pigeon throwers set up to do different things. Some throw them towards you, others away from you and they even have some that throw them along the ground simulating a rabbit. You can either pay to shoot fifty shots or one hundred shots. If you chose one hundred than you took ten shots at each station and if you chose fifty than you shot five. Josh Mike and I chose to do one hundred, Candace chose Fifty and Trini decided to keep score. Things started out a little rough for me. I didn't hit any at my first station. Josh and Mike were battling it out the whole time so see who could hit the most and Candace ended up taking first if you looked at the percentages hit. The score ended up Candace 44 out of 50, Josh 75 out of 100, Mike 64 out of 100 and I only ended up with 45 out of 100 (not too bad for my first time out). Trini saw how much fun we were having and decided she would sneak in a few shots. She did really good. She ended up with 8 out of 11. After we were done shooting we decided to go to lunch at Red Robin. I'm pretty sure everyone went home and slept after that. I even took a little nap.

They made us wear ear plugs and because Josh is already deaf he was having a real hard time hearing

Me missing the target

Trini did a real good job at this photo. If you look close you can see the pigeons in the air.

Trini getting in on the action.

Some might say I am amazing at taking photos and they would be right. That puff is Mike hitting the pigeon.

On the ride home.

I am trying to reflect on the last two and a half weeks and to tell you the truth I can't remember much, all I know is that I have been working a lot. Last week I worked 4 twelve hour shifts and then a couple more hours on saturday, and completing a lot of my service hours for school. Timmy has also been working a lot, the city pool just opened on the 23rd so he has been making the city pool functional and not to mention pretty. This past weekend was our annual memorial weekend camp out at kolob reservoir. Okay so Timmy just informed me that we usually go labor day, but maybe we will just start going twice a year...haha. Every year we go with Josh and Candace, and Mike. We drove up sunday afternoon in Josh's truck and pulled Timmy's boat behind. We got up there around 6, just in time for dinner. We all made hobo dinners and while The boys set up the tents Candace and I put the dinner on the fire. Timmy and josh cut up a tree, I reminded him it was sunday (the last time he chopped a tree on sunday he cut his leg really bad, and now has a big scar on his shin). Monday we got up ate breakfast burritos and went fishing. We didn't catch anything but it was fun trolling around in the water. This year was not as fun for me because I got sick the day before we left and I am still trying to get over it. I got it from my younger brother I guess thats what happens when you move back in with your parents yeah!!

All of us in the boat Saturday Moring. Josh and Candace went for a run on their own.

Mike, Timmy, and I went for a walk Timmy is quite the picture taker! It would have
sunday night while Josh and Candance slept. looked better but mike put his trash in the fire!

This is a pic that mike took. Another Mike pic.
It turned out pretty cool.

Timmy and Josh trying to get some firewood so we could cook our dinners. (note the basso just watching!)

schools out for the summer!!

Timmy and I are so glad that we are out for the summer, just two more semesters left and we are done. I am proud of our grades as well we are both doing really well, if I don't say so myself. April 24 my nursing class got together and had a BBQ at Jenn's It was really fun and it was great to not have to worry about homework or studying. We all received a gift card to subway for 32 bucks and our LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) certificate. School was really difficult this semester I didn't quite think I was going to make it. Timmy however was really great as he always is at calming my on going anxiety and making me feel so much better at school.

On April 28 Timmy and I had our first Summer adventure, Him mike and I got together and went down the virgin river in Mike's canoe. This was really fun, we started at about 6:30 at the Washington bridge and started on our journey. The best part about the trip was the sweet guava nectar and of course our little mis hap with flipping the canoe. Timmy put a life jacket under his butt to make things a little more comfortable, of course this was a brilliant idea and had to try it myself. While I was leaning over to put this comfortable cushion under me Mike was also leaning to steer himself away from a tree. Our canoe filled with water while all of our belongings went floating down the river.

A few day ago on Saturday Timmy and I babysat Bonnie's kids. Timmy brought over the blow up screen from his work and we watched the motor cross on it. We all had a really great time, the kids especially. My favorite part about babysitting was spending time with the kids. Timmy and I are always busy whether we are at school, working or doing the many other things in our lives; we don't really get to see the nieces and nephews very often. While Timmy was setting up all the equipment to watch the races on the kids were helping me make homemade chocolate cookies, it was fun having them help. One of the funniest things about this night was Ryan, everyone had fallen asleep and there he was just rambling about all sorts of made up stories to keep himself awake. I told him he needed to stop talking now and that I knew a way he would fall asleep. I started tickling his face and he said "I don't like that it makes me hot," haha that was a lie...2 min later asleep.
So far my summer has been just about everything I have wanted it to be, lots of time in the sun and lots of things to do (including working 3 12 hour shifts a week, being on call 2 a week, and trying to accomplish 175 hours of service for americorps
